BENTONITE
The aluminium silicate minerals bentonite and zeolite sometimes occur together in nature, but they have their own unique properties.
Bentonite is clay which swells on contact with water. This makes it suitable as a sealant for dams, clumping cat litter, and for pelletizing applications. It also has flow properties that make it suitable as drilling mud.
